Hey I’m Jodie from Bristol! I have been tattooing for over 13 years and I have a massive love for black and grey work. I specialise mainly in portraits and I worked in my previous studio for over 6 years before finally taking the plunge in to opening my own personal studio ”Studiotwo23” in 2018 in Bristol.
Back in 2017 I was also featured on MTV’s hit show ”Just Tattoo Of Us” for 4 seasons.

Hey everyone! I‘m Karlo, from Melbourne, Australia and I’ve been in the industry for just over 8 years now and feel that I’ve quickly adapted to most styles of tattooing. My work consists of mainly black and grey realism but slowly moving towards the colour realism aspect of tattooing.
I have come to Checkmate Tattoo as I feel that their products are a step above compared to all the balms and soap companies I’ve used and its an honour to represent them in Australia.
